Dr. Alina Sotskova is a Registered Psychologist in BC. Dr. Sotskova completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Philosophy at York University and her Master of Science and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Victoria. Her clinical training included completing a residency at London Health Sciences Centre and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Western Ontario. Over the course of her work as a psychologist in BC, Dr. Sotskova has worked with organizations such as Orion Health, Richmond Counselling and Wellness, Chuck Jung and Associates, Teladoc, and Wise Mind Centre. To her clinical practice, Dr. Sotskova brings a wealth of previous experience working with adults, couples, and groups in private practice, hospital, forensic, community, and rehabilitation settings. Dr. Sotskova often works with concerns related to: anxiety; depression; PTSD; impact of trauma, injury, or stressful events; occupational injuries; and rehabilitation following a combination of physical and psychological injuries.

Dr. Sotskova provides the following specialized assessment services:

• Independent Psychological Evaluations (also known as Independent Medical Evaluations, IMEs) for personal injury cases, such as car accidents, and for disability determination purposes.
• Psychodiagnostic and comprehensive assessments for other medical-legal purposes, including immigration, rehabilitation, occupational injuries, and insurance evaluation purposes.
• Comprehensive psychological diagnostic assessments, including assessment of mood/anxiety concerns, trauma/PTSD, OCD, burnout, other mental health conditions, and personality functioning
• Performance optimization assessments for individuals working in high-demand professions and high-pressure sectors.
